First, search and download our iOS and Android app on the app store. Order from our partnered restaurants by selecting CASE as an additional menu item. When your order arrives in reusable containers, scan the accompanied QR code on the packaging to confirm the amount. Then, enjoy!
Continue ordering as we do not limit the amount of times you can order with CASE before returning your containers.
To return, there are two methods. We offer home pick-up and public return bins. We currently offer home pick-up of empty containers to customers who are looking to return over 5 containers.
To drop off containers at a return bin, begin by locating one that is closest to your on our app. Bring your containers to the return bin and drop it off. After you have dropped it inside, scan the QR code on the bin to confirm your return.
A CASE membership to take out unlimited containers is only 3$ per month or 30$ per year.
Our containers are made of #5 polypropylene.
The problem with plastic is not the material, but the use we make of it. At Case we are not against plastic as such, but against the indiscriminate use of plastic by the packaging industry. Today, plastic is the material we use, as it is the one that offers the best performance in terms of service:
- NSF certified
- Made in Canada
- Stackable, Lightweight, Durable
- Leakproof, Freezer proof, Microwave safe
- It is 100% recyclable in Ontario
The important message we want to spread to our community is to avoid everything that is "use and throw away" whether plastic or not. We need to start thinking of our resources as precious materials, not disposable commodities. At end of life, the containers are sent to our partnered private recycler in Ontario. They are broken down into pellets and resold to the market. This is how we maintain complete circularity of our service and help shape a more sustainable economy.
We're in the business of making take-out more sustainable, which is why members can take out an unlimited number of containers! Once you receive your order, just scan each container and then return them at one of our drop sites within 14 days to check them back in.

We researched the LCA (life-cycle analysis) of every material available for commercial takeout container use. In looking at the impact of each, it was clear that plastic is currently the best way to go as the minimal inputs required allow for a superior net positive carbon impact. Not only do these containers uphold all service requirement for our operations and desired customer experience, they also create the least impact on the environment.

Cases are cleaned and sanitized in an NSF certified professional ware-washing machine. The facility upholds all standards and guidelines set forth by Toronto Public Health.

Public drops sites are located in offices, condo lobbies, cafeterias etc. These are open for anyone to return a case to and are displayed openly on our mobile app and website for users to find. They are especially helpful during COVID because consumers are not eating in restaurants and therefore we want to ensure we maintaining convenience as top of mind.
Hosting a public drop site at your facility will drive higher rates of adoption and reduce waste on your premise.
YES. COVID-19 has caused an uptake in demand for single-use plastic, which has led in an increased determination from our team to roll out our service. Case washes in a health-code approved, top of the line, commercial kitchen. More than 100 scientists (epidemiologists, virologists, biologists, chemist and doctors) from around the world, have published a sign statement to reassure the public that reusable containers are safe during the pandemic. Not a single public health board in Canada has banned the use of reusable items during the pandemic.
Our containers are cleaned and sanitized in an NSF certified professional ware-washing machine, just like the ones used at any reputable restaurant. Our contactless drop sites allow you to simply drop your used containers into the bin, ensuring your safety.
